Monumental Disaster

The Park in this town was one of the many places that had been torn apart by the Youth and their many unhealthy habits. As Jack approached the broken down establishment with his two accomplices, he took a second to admire the memories, and innocence this playground had once held dear. The old rusty railing along the center of the structure leading up to the glorious tower where as a kid, one would take control of until pushed down the spiraling yellow slide and into the pretend red lava that covered the ground. walking up to the slide, all Jack could do was see a random graffiti, and questionable stains covering the once monumental slide. cigarette butts, and broken glass littered the floor. The faint smell of Urine came across his face as if the small breeze was attempting to send him a message. The unwelcome guestures made by this structure took Jack by surprise. How could something that used to be full of joy, entertainment, and innocence, now be used, torn apart, and full of hatred and ignorance. was this his doing? As much as he wouldnt like to think so, Jack had knowingly contributed to more then one of the destructive acts that now scar this playground. was this how society was meant to work? All the little kids growing up to be greedy, destructive self righteous members of society. No one is around to babysit them anymore. Free do as they please....Jack took a note of this, maybe it wasnt too late. He was still Jack, but what else had he ruined along his way?
